How to Measure Vintage Vaqueros Correctly
Buying vintage vaqueros online is different from buying new denim.
Sizing can vary depending on the brand, model, ajuste, fabric and age of the garment.
For this reason, the best way to choose the right pair is to compare the measurements listed on the product page with a similar pair of vaqueros you already own.
What you need
To measure vaqueros correctly, place the garment flat on a surface and smooth out the fabric without stretching it.
Key measurements to compare
Waist
Measure straight across the waistband from one side to the other.
Front rise
Measure from the crotch seam up to the top of the waistband.
Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam down to the bottom hem along the inside leg.
Total length
Measure from the top of the waistband down to the bottom hem.
Leg opening
Measure straight across the bottom of the leg opening.
Why measurements matter
Vintage sizing is not always consistent.
A pair labelled W29 from one brand may ajuste very differently from another pair labelled W29.
That is why we always recommend checking the exact measurements in cm shown on every product page.
