Talla Guide

Talla Guide

Vintage sizing can vary from one brand, model and era to another.
For this reason, we always recommend checking the measurements in cm shown in each product description instead of relying only on the talla label.

Important

A pair of vaqueros marked with the same talla may ajuste differently depending on:

  • brand

  • model

  • rise

  • stretch

  • vintage age and production period

That is why the measurements in cm are the most reliable way to choose the right ajuste.

How to compare measurements

The easiest way is to compare the measurements listed on our product page with a similar item you already own and that ajustes you well.

Lay your garment flat and compare the following points:

Vaqueros / Trousers

  • Waist = measured flat across the waistband

  • Front rise = from the crotch seam to the top of the waistband

  • Inseam = from the crotch seam to the end of the leg

  • Total length = from the top of the waistband to the bottom hem

  • Leg opening = measured flat across the bottom of the leg

Chaquetas / Tops

  • Chest

  • Shoulders

  • Sleeve length

  • Waist

  • Total length

All measurements are provided in centimetres (cm).

Men’s waist guide

For men’s vaqueros, the W number usually refers to waist talla in inches, but ajuste may still vary depending on the brand and model.

We strongly recommend comparing the listed waist measurement in cm with a similar pair you already wear.

Ajuste notes

Some common ajuste terms used in our listings:

  • Skinny = close ajuste from thigh to ankle

  • Slim = narrow ajuste but less tight than skinny

  • Straight = straight leg from thigh to hem

  • Bootcut / Flare = wider opening at the bottom

  • Low rise = sits lower on the waist

  • Mid rise = sits around the natural waist area

  • High rise = sits higher on the waist
